Teacher Transfer Points

Step-by-step calculation using the 2019 policy and the 18-10-2022 amendment notification supplied with this calculator.

0.00
calculated points · policy ceiling 270
Important source note: The 18-10-2022 notification expressly changes the composite score to 270 points, while the detailed components visible in the two supplied documents account for 265 points before any negative leave deduction. The notification also references a 07-05-2020 amendment, whose contents were not supplied. This calculator therefore provides an explicit “other 5 points” field rather than guessing.
Quick guide: Fill the left panel from top to bottom. The result on the right updates automatically. Review the validation message before downloading the report. The PDF is designed as a clean, colourful record with candidate details, every calculation, policy formulas, and the final score.
Enter your joining date and relevant policy details in the left panel. The calculation updates live, and the PDF includes the complete step-by-step breakdown.

1Length of service0.00 / 95
(Z1×LOS1 + Z2×LOS2 + Z3×LOS3 + Z4×LOS4 + Z5×LOS5) ÷ Total LOS

Zone weights: Z1=10, Z2=20, Z3=30, Z4=40, Z5=50. This service-in-zones component is capped at 50. Total Punjab Education Department service is divided by 365 days, capped at 35. Service is the prime factor and carries 95 points. The sidebar calculates total elapsed service days from the joining date to today's date for convenience.

Policy-date note: The 2019 policy states that the qualifying date for actual vacancies, points calculation and count of stay is 31 March every year. For an official transfer-point calculation, the service period should therefore be aligned with the applicable 31 March qualifying date rather than blindly using today's date.

Do not treat the calculated score as a guarantee of transfer. The 2019 policy states that posting/transfer to an opted school or zone is not a matter of right; allocation depends on vacancies and the applicable policy process.
